Independence Day Parade

On Monday July 4 Essex Vol Fire Co Attended The 88th Annual Dundalk Independence Day Parade. Members Took Engine 512 Special Unit 513 And Utility 516 To The Parade While Ambulance 515 & Engine 511 Remained In Station To Answer Calls In The First Due. Independence Day Parade Preparation

On Friday July 1st Members From Station 51 Started Preparation For The Annual Dundalk Independence Day Parade. For 3 Days Members Worked Extra Hard In The Heat Cleaning, Washing, Hand Drying, Waxing And Shining Apparatus Until Everything Was Completely Spotless! On July 3rd Crews Slept In At The Firehouse To Wake Up At 6:30am To Add The Finishing Touches Before Starting Parade Lineup At 7:30am. ... (Full Story & Photos)

Fully Involved Vehicle Fire (Box 51-05)

On Sunday May 5th At Approximately 11:44am Essex Volunteers Were Dispatched To The 100Blk Of Holly Cir Off Sue Creek Dr For A Possible Vehicle Fire. Engine 512 Arrived To Find A Fully Involved Ford Expedition Crews From Engine 512 Pulled The 100ft Bumper Line And Quickly Knocked The Fire Down Which Was Contained To Only The Vehicle. Gas Odor Turns Into Apartment Fire (Box 51-19)

On Saturday June 4th At Approximately 12:17pm Engine 512 Was Dispatched To The 900Blk Of Honeywood Pl Off Hartland Rd & Mansfield Rd For A Odor Of Gas In An Apartment Building. Apon Arrival Engine 512 Was Met With A Homeowner Who Reported Seeing & Smelling Smoke Inside The Building. Commercial Building Fire (Box Area 7-18)

On Sunday April 3rd 2022, Station 51 Was Alerted To Box Area 7-18 For A Possible Commercial Structure Fire In 1500Blk Of Country Ridge Ln At The Country Ridge Shopping Center. First Arriving Units Reported An Active Dumpster Fire On The Charlie Side With Extension To The Building.
