At around 2:30pm this afternoon Engine 512 was alerted to Galena Road for a vehicle stuck in flood waters. Upon arrival both occupants were out of the vehicle. The Essex volunteer fire company is proud to announce the new special unit 513 and utility 516 were placed in service. Special unit 513 is a 2019 Ford expedition SSV in magnetic gray and will be our primary first responder vehicle on EMS calls.
