On Thursday evening around 16:30 hours, Engine 511 & Ambulance 515 were dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment for a building fire in the 600Blk of South Marlyn Avenue. First arriving units reported smoke showing from a 2 story duplex with active fire on the first floor. 49th Annual Essex Day

We are overwhelmed with thanks for all the kind words and community engagement we received. 2nd Alarm Apartment Fire (Box 8-20)

Last night at 8:30pm Ambulance 515 was clearing the hospital when an apartment fire was dispatched in the Eagles walk apartments on Glendower Ct. Crews from station 8 arrived to find a 3 story apartment building with fire showing. Ambulance 515 along with Medic 8,16,55 and 10 setup medical standby for any potential patients.
