On Friday January 6th Around 11:05pm Station 51 Was Alerted For A Residential Structure Fire In The 1300Blk Of Maple Ave Off Hyde Park Rd Engine 512 Responded With 5 Personnel And Upon Approaching Hyde Park Rd Members Noted Seeing A Glow In The Sky. First Arriving Units Arrived To Find A 1.5 Story Wood Frame Dwelling With Fire Showing Engine 7s Crew Deployed An Attack Line To Side Alpha While Engine 512s Crew Stretched A 2nd Attack Line Off Engine 7 And Continued To Side Charlie Which Was Well Involved. Members From 51 Made A Good Knock On The Exterior Fire And Made Entry Into Division 1 To Continue Interior Fire Attack. The Fire Was Placed Under Control Within 30 Minutes However Members Remained On Location For 4 Hours Before Returning To Station, All Occupants Were Out Of The Home Upon FD Arrival And No Injuries Were Reported Great Work By All Crews On Scene!
