This afternoon station 51 was alerted for a reported brush fire in the 2100blk of Holly Neck Rd. Crews arrived to find a large portion of brush on fire to the rear of a home which was quickly spreading to the nearby wooded area. Engine 512 Utility 516 along with Engine 7 & Brush 7 operated on the scene for approximately two hours before clearing the call. One civilian patient was transported by EMS for injuries sustained while attempting to extinguish the fire.
