On March 10th at 7:25pm station 51 was dispatched to the 2500Blk of Island View Road for reports of a garage on fire. Engine 512 was first arriving unit on scene to find an approximate 30x30 detached garage with fire showing impinging on two boats. Crews placed multiple hand lines in service and began attacking the fire. Harsh wind conditions resulted in more of a challenge for firefighters. Firefighters were able to place the fire under control in under 30 minutes and no injuries were reported.
